WhatTheHuh.ai is a publication about how AI is reshaping work, business, and the way we live — and what that actually means once you look past the hype.

The space is loud. Headlines proliferate, predictions multiply, and most coverage falls into two failure modes: surface-level reporting that doesn't tell you what's actually changing, or hype-driven takes that don't survive contact with how things actually play out. The shared problem is that very little of what's written about AI produces the moment where you realize the framing you had was wrong.

The 'Huh moment'

That moment is the work. We call it a huh moment — the structural reframe that changes how you think about a topic, not just what you know about it.

What we're here for

Our primary focus is business evolution in the AI era. How specific industries are reorganizing. Which roles are quietly disappearing and which are being created. Where competitive ground is shifting and why. What strategic decisions are being made in private that aren't being talked about in public. We're less interested in what AI could theoretically do than in what's actually happening — and what that means for the people building, running, and competing in businesses today.

Alongside the strategic work, we cover AI's effect on personal life — how the tools are changing relationships, work-life boundaries, how we learn, how we make decisions. The lines between work and life are dissolving as AI gets more capable, and we cover both because each shapes the other.

We aren't trying to publish more. We're trying to publish what's actually useful — fewer pieces, deeper insights, defensible claims, sharp opinions. If you find our work helpful, share it with someone who will too.
